POET'S DAY (9) is an honest gelding when he finds his peak fitness and made it 2 wins from his last 3 starts when scoring an all-the-way victory here a month ago against a similar lineup. He is perfectly placed with a kilo less to carry this time and he loses nothing with Adrian Layt picking up the ride. He is in a good space and another win is not beyond him.
