AUTUMN STORM (6) won two in a row prior to last start at Flemington when badly held up along the rails for most of the straight, unable to get a crack at them behind the smart Alma Rise. He's a lightly raced 4yo who can atone here. DIVUS ROMULUS (5) resumed over this route and ran well for a narrow fourth. This doesn't look much stronger and he should be much fitter for that. Can win. AKROTIRI (4) was edged out by the aforementioned Alma Rise at Moe last start which reads well. He maps for a soft run here and looks a solid each-way hope. THE GENIUS (1) was well beaten in that Moe race but has the ability to bounce back. SERVED COLD (7) was a one-time Oaks fancy who resumed from a long spell at Bendigo and will be much fitter.
