Reigning Andrew Ramsden Stakes winner THE MAP (4) leads SA's staying ranks and was warming nicely late to her task when resuming in the LR Premier's Plate here two weeks ago. Will relish the rise in trip and has the runs on the board. TARAMANSOUR (5) has progressed nicely in his last two preps, establishing himself as a handy staying type. Ran a career peak last start when narrowly beaten in the LR Australia Day Cup at Warwick Farm. Hard to beat if he holds form. GRAND PIERRO (2) rarely turns in a poor one. Was a determine winner two back in the LR Bagot Handicap at Flemington and is another that will be in the finish if can bring that form. GOTTA GO GURU (13) is a progressive stayer from the Gluyas camp. Toughest assignment to date. Testing material. GOLDENSTATEWARRIOR (6) and SILENT SURRENTE (12) haven't done much wrong and are busting to win but may need something easier.
