FINE VINTAGE (2) classy gelding with five wins from 15 starts. Came out fast from the wide draw in the heavy going when a tiring eighth over 1250m at Canterbury in BM78 grade on November 29. Will find this more to his liking and go on his strong win two-back when assessing his chances. KING GUTHO (1) underrated sprinter with a good record at this track and trip. Got out of his ground when returning from a let-up with an eye-catching second over 1000m at Queanbeyan on November 29. Fitter now and the tempo suits. Goes close. MR ROCK IT (3) has a liking for the Moruya track and his recent provincial form has been solid. Fifth-up today from the good gate after finishing a sound second to DARK GLITTER over 1250m at Newcastle on December 7. Each way. GORUSH LIGHTNING (4) track and trip specialist resuming on his home track. Won't know himself with the 4kg claim and is a must for the exotics.
