MACCBI (4) has been much better in his last two starts and should be hitting his straps now. Was getting stronger the further they went last start. Will prove hard to stop. DAVIKAR (7) progressed nicely in her second outing when sticking on gamely into the frame at Nowra. Should improve further third-up and rates one of the leading players. COLONEL LIGHT (1) is an Adelaide gelding on debut for the Cavanough team. Has shown enough in his lead-up work to suggest he can feature. Market support would add confidence. NOVEMBER AIR (8) returns for a smart stable and looks to have struck his easiest assignment to date. Fitter for two trials and has to be taken seriously.
