JUNKANOO looks attractively handicapped on some of last season's novice form having eased in the weights, so he receives the tentative vote with the drop back in trip likely to suit. King William Rufus seems likely to go well again back in handicap company, with recent Wetherby scorer Schmilsson another to consider.

Back-to-back wins at Wincanton and Kempton in December. Faced a stiff task in the Betfair Hurdle but ran an unusually poor race in the Swinton Handicap when last seen in May. Sort to bounce back quickly so worth a market check returning for in-form new yard (has left Victor Dartnall).

Quirky sort who ran creditably when third in 5-runner handicap hurdle at Fontwell (19.2f, good to firm) when last seen 17 months ago. Not seen since but is capable of going well fresh.

Fairly useful performer on Flat for Andrew Balding who got off the mark over hurdles in a Sedgefield maiden back in February. Disappointed on handicap debut at Stratford but bounced back with a bang when scoring at Wetherby (2m) on reappearance 22 days ago, just holding on. Respected up 3 lb.

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat and similar form over hurdles last winter, off the mark at Plumpton (15.9f) in January. Hasn't fired in handicap company since but he ran creditably from an easing mark at Fontwell 15 days ago and looks interesting back at 2m.

Just a modest Flat winner but quickly made up into a better hurdler in summer 2022, winning 4 juveniles. Shaped as if retaining ability back from 18 months off here in December and ran to a similar at Kempton when last seen in February. Reappears from a 2 lb lower mark.

Opened hurdles account at the sixth attempt when making all in a Plumpton maiden (2m, good to soft) in March and has found only one too good both outings since, including in a Fontwell novice (17.7f) on reappearance last month. Should go well again.

Fairly useful maiden hurdler at his best but he proved to be a disappointment on debut for new yard here in September and has fared little better both starts since. Others more persuasive.

Hurdles winner who opened his chase account returning from 5 months off (had wind op and tongue tied) at Uttoxeter in October and improved again when following up in emphatic fashion at Ayr. Back over hurdles now from same mark and warrants respect.
