MAGIC GAME (6) found some trouble in the running last start but was still too good for her maiden rivals when sailing home out wide to get up and score by over a length. She has the blinkers on for the first time and even though she is jumping a couple of grades, she has 2.5kg less to carry and can win again. ALEACO (4) finished fourth in a tougher field here last time out and is better than his form suggests. He saves his best for his home track and can figure in the finish here from a handy draw. Stick with him. CALIFORNIAN (1) has been battling to find his best form and will find this easier than any of his first 4 starts this prep. The blinkers are off for the first time and he can turn his form around. Each way value. LUVIN' OUR GRACE (3) made the most of a brilliant Ryan Wiggins ride when scoring by nearly a length at Mackay 3 weeks ago. She benefits from a 3kg claim this time and should be thereabouts again.
