Tough. INTRUDER (5) was narrowly beaten at Doomben and is ready for the step up to the mile. The former Sydney galloper has more to give, and this is a winnable assignment. O'CALDINO (3) resumed in good order at the Gold Coast after a switch from a Victorian stable. The mile will be right up his alley. WARNA (2) missed a whisker at Rockhampton second-up over 1400m. Races more forward in that and can feature with average luck in the run. RUGBY (4) is a likely improver from the Bruce yard. Raced at Warwick farm first-up following a switch from the Waller barn. He missed a nose on a heavy track at Canterbury on debut.
