Drawn a little awkwardly but has good gate speed and with even luck can get off the mark. SIGSALY (5) raced near the pace then went to the line fairly on debut last time out over this track and trip, finishing 2.5 lengths behind the runner-up Crazy Mikki. Has a stack of improvement to come so she can get a lot closer to today's chief rival this time. KING SOLEIL (1) is back after a fifteen-week break. Placed at three of four runs in the maiden campaign. Perfectly drawn and has the talent to test this field. PURPLE KITTY (2) was unwanted in betting on debut back on 8 December but did a good job to work home into fourth over 1100m at Armidale after racing wide. May need further but not out of contention while fresh. Consistent mare KOBAYTERA (8) is in the mix first-up from a sixteen-week lay-off.
