VANDELIGHT (13) was five weeks between runs when a moderate fifth over this distance at Dubbo last start. Strips fitter and she did win her maiden over this course and distance in great style last prep. Ideally placed to bounce back to form. LAUNCH SEQUENCE (2) returned from a six-week let-up with a strong third over 1200m at Coffs Harbour last time out. Has a high top three strike rate over today's trip. Just needs some luck from a wide gate to be featuring in the finish. AQUAFIRE (5) returned in fine order recently over this distance at Port Macquarie, driving hard but just coming up short in a busy finish. Scored second-up last time in work so he can improve off that run. SHELLEY'S LOOKOUT (12) resumes. Will be better for the run but can sneak into the frame. GOLDEN DUBAI (6) has returned in good form and should be about the mark again.
