SILVER HALO (8) has been beaten around half a length at both runs this prep, the latest effort a tough display over 1300m at Newcastle. Will find this easier and should be peaking at the third run back. Just needs luck from the wide gate to get the cash. MOSGIEL DAISY (11) turned in a real eye-catcher when fresh from a spell over 1250m here recently, coming from next to last on the turn to be beaten under a length. Very effective at today's trip so with the run under the belt she poses a serious threat. EXTERNUS (12) did a great job to win under 61.5kgs first-up at Coffs Harbour. Must be respected although the wide gate is a worry. CRITICAL TIME (6) has been freshened up since a disappointing effort at Ballina a month ago. Can make his presence felt with the help of the inside gate. FLOSS'S ONE (10) loves racing here and from a good draw is one of the better chances.
