SMART IMAGE (1) won a trial here very easily before finishing well back fresh up in G3 company at Doomben nearly 2 weeks ago over 1200m when he failed to handle the heavy track that day. This is a big drop in grade and even with the full 66.5kg to carry, he is the one to beat. BOLD TYPE (2) is a durable veteran who is very competitive at this level. He will be peaking third up and with a 7kg weight advantage over the top pick, he will be hard to hold out. YOUR TOO GOOD (4) was beaten for the first time on this track last time out over 1200m, finishing fourth after making nearly all of the running. She is nicely weighted and with a return to 1000m, she can bounce straight back into the money. COCHRANE (3) was not disgraced in a far tougher field at Doomben last time out and will find this easier. He gets a big swing in his draw and should be right in the finish this time.
