PELSAERT (6) has found it hard to win another race but does race consistently when fit. He has needed both of his starts back from a spell and was only run down late here after leading 15 days ago. He drops another 1.5kg in weight and can take them all the way this time. WEMYSS (7) was out of the money last start but not far away from the winner. He has an extra 100m to travel this time and is capable of a top 3 finish. MISSISSIPPI ALIBI (12) has been racing well since winning her maiden fresh-up at a Mareeba picnic meeting on Boxing Day. She benefits from a 2kg claim, and another honest effort is on the cards. FALLGUY (4) did not handle the tight turning Home Hill course last time out and will appreciate being back on the much larger track here. He was in good form at the start of this prep and can bounce back into form here. Each-way. CHARTWELL (1) has improved in each of his 2 starts since moving North from NSW. He is down in class and up in trip. Hard to beat in this even field.
