GRAND EAGLE (5) is a Farnan colt from Sauvignon who has produced the winner of a black type. Coming along well at the trials with a win at his most recent (Rosehill). Jumps from a favourable gate and should be about the money. Fellow debutant KILMAN (6) has also caught the eye in his lead-up work. Is a Super Seth colt by Thy and gets the key booking of McDonald. Must take him seriously. GAEILGE (2) disappointed first-up when well supported at Newcastle. Was sent back to the trials and impressed when sent forward. Can bounce back sharply. FROSTFIRE (1) had the better of Gaeilge at Newcastle over the 900m. Have to respect.
