MR VIVACI (2) was a dominant nine length winner over this route first up as a $1.90 favourite before just finding an in form Al Duca a bit too good at Moonee Valley, finishing third in a small, bunched field. This suits much better. NEW YORK SCANDAL (7) doesn't win out of turn but was good at Moonee Valley over 2040m last start. Back in trip for this but has a bit of pace and can settle near the front. MANHATTAN VIEW (8) was just fair fresh at Sandown Lakeside but that was in a better race. Fitter and an each way hope. QUEEN BEIRA (5) is racing well, winning two in a row in easier grades. Have to respect. OLNEY (4) resumes off a short break and isn't to be discounted.
